This season Men’s Club has been on a roll and our record speaks for itself. We’ve been putting up points on the board and piling up the yardage. Why the football metaphors? Our first annual Super Bowl Party! We scored a game winning touchdown with what we expect to be an annual event. To all those who joined us, we hope you enjoyed the game and the party. I would like to say thanks to all those who assisted in preparing for the big game. I couldn’t have done it without my assistant coaches! A good time was had by all at our Wine Tasting event this past February. We all say thanks to Eddie Goldberg, who quarterbacked this event. Thanks to our main man Michael Dubrow for marching down the field and crossing the goal line with our Disney on Ice event at the Sun Center in Trenton NJ. What else is on this season’s schedule? Our annual Yom Hashoah Candle Mailing is scheduled for Sunday, March 7th. You too can be part of this winning team by helping us with the preparations. The Israel Forum has a brunch scheduled for Sunday, May 9 to hear the latest concerning the JNF, and their work in Israel. Rabbi Plotkin is our main man in the huddle on Sunday mornings for our Sunday morning learner’s minyan. Join us every Sunday morning at 9:20am, when Hebrew School is in session. You never know what clever anecdote Rabbi will share with us. RSP is our MVP! Members of Men’s Club will be joining Rabbi Plotkin and others for a field trip to The Lower East Side Tenement Museum on Sunday, April 25th. If you are interested in being part of the team, contact to the office for more information. Michael Dubrow gets the game ball for putting together our annual Blood Drive this year. Keep a look out for when this important event will take place, Remember, your Men’s Club dues are paid in full for the year when you give a donation. It’s never too early to “save the date” for our annual Trenton Thunder game. Join Men’s Club for Jewish Heritage Night at Waterfront Park on Thursday, July 29th. Are you a Member of Men’s Club? We are always looking for people to join us and plan events. Did you pay your Men’s Club dues this year? Dues are $36 for basic and $61 for a deluxe membership, which includes membership in our Blood Bank program. Talk to any active member of Men’s Club for more information.
