The Men's Club continues to offer a variety of activities throughout the year. On May 23, we have our annual blood drive, conducted in the bloodmobile, and located in the synagogue parking between 9 am and Noon. Please help us keep our blood bank stocked for the possibility someone of our congregation or their immediate family may need blood. On Sunday, June 6 the Jewish Festival takes place at Shady Brooke Farm from noon to 4pm. The Men's club, lead by Warren Baer, will be there to set-up the popcorn maker that will be part of the BOI table. If you can help, please contact Warren. Set-up is at 9:30.Jewish Heritage night at the Trenton Thunder will take place on July 29 at 7:05 with fireworks that night. Tickets are limited so contact Mike Dubrow as soon as possible to reserve your seats. The Men's club minyan, held every Sunday (when school meets) at 9:20 am is a time to learn about the prayers and the service. Rabbi Plotkin conducts the service and discusses issues surrounding prayer that you may not be familiar with. We have had difficulty making minyans despite the fact that many congregants drop their Children off at around our minyan time but never come into to the synagogue for a 30 minute service. This means some who have a yahrzeit or saying Kaddish cannot do so. Do a mitzvah, come join our minyan and you can still get to do your Sunday activities. The Men's requests that anyone wanting to help with our Israel Garden this spring and summer contact Alan Agree. The garden needs immediate fixing up. Men’s Club sponsors' the Israel Forum.
